3. Application infrastructure
App data — followed cities, reading history, settings, alerts — is stored locally on the user's device and is not hosted on any server operated by the publisher. The app has no user account, no sign-up and no online profile.
The only server-side processing is performed by stateless Cloud Functions hosted on Google Cloud / Firebase infrastructure (Google Ireland Limited), in the europe-west1 (Belgium) region. These functions relay requests for public air quality and weather data; they retain no data capable of identifying a user. Full details are set out in our privacy policy.
4. Mobile application
The Air Quality app (identifier com.devolim.airquality) is published by BAUGEY MATHEO
and distributed through the App Store (Apple Inc.) and the Google Play Store
(Google LLC). The publisher is solely responsible for the content and operation of the app; the distribution
platforms act as technical intermediaries and are neither publishers nor parties to the terms of use.
5. Data sources and licences
The app operates no sensors of its own: it displays public data produced by scientific and official bodies, whose measurements, models and indices differ from one country to another. The credits below are required by the licences governing the reuse of that data; they imply neither a partnership with, nor an endorsement by, the bodies concerned, and the selection of sources may change.
5.1 Atmospheric and weather data
Generated using Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service information 2026. Neither the European Commission nor the service concerned is responsible for any use made of this information, nor for the processing and adaptations applied to it within the app.
5.2 Official measurements in France
Measurements from French monitoring stations and the associated regulatory index are published by the accredited air quality monitoring associations under the ODbL (Open Database Licence), which requires the source to be credited and any adaptation to be redistributed on the same terms. Matching a position to a municipality relies on public data released under the French Etalab Open Licence.
5.3 Map tiles
Base maps rely in particular on © OpenStreetMap data, available under the ODbL licence, whose contributors are credited directly on the map inside the app, as well as on the terms of the provider that serves those tiles.
5.4 Nature of the data displayed
Apart from station measurements, the indices and concentrations shown are modelled values: they are produced by numerical models with a kilometre-scale grid and do not constitute a measurement taken at your address. The limits of this are detailed in our health disclaimer.
6. Intellectual property
All elements making up the website https://airquality.devolim.fr and the Air Quality app — text, structure, navigation, visual identity, logo, icon, illustrations, interfaces, source code and databases — are the exclusive property of BAUGEY MATHEO, except for the third-party trademarks, data and components referred to in section 5. They are protected by the French Intellectual Property Code and applicable international conventions.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, extraction, substantial reuse or adaptation, in whole or in part, by any means and on any medium, is prohibited without the publisher's prior written consent, subject to statutory exceptions. The names "DEVOLIM" and "Air Quality" / « Qualité de l'air », together with the associated logos, may not be used without written agreement.
7. Liability
Air Quality is an environmental information tool. It is neither a medical device within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745, nor an official public alerting service, nor a regulatory measuring instrument. The information displayed is provided for guidance only; during a pollution episode, official health recommendations are issued by your prefecture, your regional health agency and the regional air quality monitoring body.
The publisher takes reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy and availability of the service, but cannot guarantee the absence of errors, the continuity of third-party sources, the timeliness of updates or uninterrupted availability. The publisher cannot be held liable for decisions taken solely on the basis of the information displayed. See also our health disclaimer and the liability clause of the terms of use.
8. Hyperlinks
The website and the app may link to third-party sites (data sources, distribution platforms, public authorities). DEVOLIM exercises no control over those sites and disclaims any liability as to their content, availability or personal data practices.
9. Reporting illegal content
The app neither publishes nor hosts user-generated content: it has no account, no publishing space and no comments. Any report concerning manifestly illegal content, under French law and Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services, may nonetheless be sent to contact.airquality@devolim.fr, which is the publisher's single point of contact.
10. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in our privacy policy, drawn up in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and French Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
This legal notice is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing amicable resolution, the French courts shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the protective rules available to consumers, who may bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.
12. Language
This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version shall prevail.
